English Day in 2024

English Day at our school in 2024 was a resounding success, showcasing the immense talent and dedication of our students across various grades. With each passing year, our students continue to excel in a wide range of competitions, and this year was no exception. Let's take a closer look at the remarkable achievements of our students in the field of English language and literature

Grade 3

M. Karshani, a third-grader, represented our school at the zonal level in Handwriting and secured a commendable 2nd place.

Grade 4

In the same competition, M. Rukaash from Grade 4 made us proud by achieving 3rd place in Handwriting.

R. Yupashana, also from Grade 4, dominated the Recitation competition, clinching the 1st place at the zonal level. She continued her success story by securing the 2nd place at the district level and the 3rd place at the provincial level.

Grade 6

S. Rishithev exhibited his creative prowess by securing the 2nd place in Creative Writing at the zonal level.

V. Thaksitha made Grade 6 proud by securing the 3rd place in the Recitation competition at the zonal level.

Grade 7

Grade 7 students truly shone in the English Day competitions. M. Adrina Kayalee emerged as the champion in Creative Writing at both the zonal and district levels.

P. Aniksha Charvi secured 3rd place in the zonal level Creative Writing competition and showcased her recitation skills by clinching the 1st place at the zonal and district levels.

Grade 8

K. Bishman and S. Odalin from Grade 8 displayed their talent in Creative Writing by securing the 2nd and 3rd places, respectively, at the zonal level.

A.S.M. Sulaim proved his mettle in the Recitation competition by securing the 2nd place at the zonal level and the 1st place at the district level.

Grade 9

R. Doriena secured the 2nd place in Dictation at the zonal level.

R. Yadhusha and C. Kiyuman Rodger showcased their creative writing skills by securing the 1st and 2nd places, respectively, at the zonal level.

Grade 10

I. Nirusha's exceptional handwriting earned her the 2nd place at the zonal and district levels and the 3rd place at the provincial level.

G. Pravith clinched the 1st place in Dictation at the zonal level.

S. Mathooshana's creative writing talent shone as she secured the 1st place at the zonal level.

T. Jayanikka and S. Pranica displayed their exceptional recitation and oratory skills by securing the 1st and 2nd places at the zonal level, respectively. T. Jayanikka continued her success story by securing the 3rd place at the district level.

Grade 11

Stneyshal Freshly exhibited his cursive handwriting skills by securing the 3rd place at the zonal level.

T. Astatha showcased her recitation talent by securing the 3rd place at the zonal level.

S. Tokarish excelled in Oratory Prepared and clinched the 1st place at both the zonal and district levels.

S. Jebulani Mishel secured the 2nd place in Oratory Impromptu at the zonal level, while S. Tokarish secured the 3rd place.

In addition to these individual achievements, our school's drama teams also made their mark. The Primary Drama team secured 2nd place at the zonal level, while the Secondary Drama team achieved the prestigious 1st place at the provincial level.

These accomplishments are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of our students and their teachers who have guided them along the way. As we celebrate these achievements, we look forward to nurturing and developing even more young talents in the years to come.
